Adult Resources : Scouter Challenges
The Scouter Challenges are about Adult members in Scouting setting themselves challenges for the "Fun of it!" They are NOT an award or a part of your training. All they hope to achieve is give adults in scouting an opportunity to try new things that they have not tried before. They will be on the folloing dates:
THE CHALLENGES HAVE BEEN POSTPONED FOR 2008 DUE TO THE HECTIC CALENDAR PEOPLE HAVE THIS YEAR
Civic Challenge
This challenge will be held in the midlands and over the weekend you will be asked to complete a few challenges. They will be geared for community involvement. You will be camping for the weekend and there is a cost of €50. You will be working with others in a patrol.
Global Challenge
This Challenge will be in Western Euope and will be over a long week period. You will be asked to get involved in community challenges as well as other fun based challenges. You should be camping for most of it but you may get a bed at some stage... The cost here is €500 with a deposit of €50 but €500 in total.
We are trying to keep a certain element of surprise about the challenges but if you feel you need to know something just ask.
If you are interested in getting involved please let us know. We will circulate more information when we have ideas of numbers
