In four years (2009-2012) we aim to be relevant and respected as we become the primary organisation concerned with developing young people using the ideals of the World Scout Movement and the SPICES model of Scouting Ireland.
Mission
Scouting Ireland’s mission is to contribute to the development of the potential of young people, with a relevant programme based on the value system of the Scout Promise and Law, through a network of adult volunteers with the support of an effective and respected community-based organisation
The 7 Strategic Priorities
1. One Programme
2. Supporting Adult Volunteers
3. An Organisation for the 21st Century
4. Communication (Internal)
5. Funding & Resources
