RUAN SCOUT CENTRE
Site Details / Description
This facility is a 14 acre site surrounded mainly by woods and one farm. The woods are owned by Coilte, with whom we have an agreement to use it for challenges and games. Programme oppertunities will have to be organised by the people camping. For the present assistance can be organised.
Local facilities:
- The site is situated 12 miles from Ennis and approximately 2 miles from the local shop, close to Dromore woods on the edge of the burren.
- The site has a toilet block on site
- A good sheltered camping field
- Phase One Toilet Block and Showers will be open in September
- It is ideal for hiking / cycling and general camping
