So you want to get your son or daughter into Scouting, you want to take the first step on the adventure yourself or  you're thinking about volunteering your time and seeing how you can help in your local Group? So what now, how do you find out where the local Group is, what sections they have, do they have any space or do they have a waiting list? Don’t worry we have all the answers you need.

We have developed a handy Group Locator, so that you can zoom in using Google Maps and find which Groups are closest to your home and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised how close they really are. There is a helpful Map Key that will appear on each of the Groups Info bubbles and this will quickly show whether the Group in question caters for the age range you are looking for. You will also get some contact details to find out whether the Group has space or if there is a waiting list.
