Donnybrook Scouter recieves Gaisce PAL award
Darragh O'Briain from the 3rd/40th/41st Donnybrook Scout Group was presented with the highly regarded award...
by the President at a recent awards cermony. Darragh pictured below was quoted as saying "To be honest the award was a total surprise to me, I really only found out about it a couple of weeks before it was presented.
I was nominated for it by Noelle Doran, one of the Beaver Leaders in my group, Donnybrook. I've been her PAL (Presidents Award leader) for the last 6 years through Bronze, Silver and Gold so I've her to thank for getting to meet the president. The recognition, the day out, the pin and the certificate were all a very nice thank you for the small bit of effort that has gone into keeping the Gaisce ball rolling with Noelle who is the one who has really done the hard work & put in the miles over the years."
