Northern Ireland - COVID-19 Restrictions Update

Update 11-09-2020 Northern Ireland - Local Area Restrictions Effective 14/9/2020 Yesterday the NI Executive introduced restrictions for people living in certain areas in Northern Ireland (Belfast City Council area, the town of Ballymena and postcode areas BT28 and BT43). The announcement relates to private households. Education settings are not affected by the restrictions. SFNI have however asked for confirmation of this from the Department of Education and Education Authority and will provide a further update if there is any change. John Lawlor Awarded Baden Powell Fellow

The Board of Scouting Ireland congratulates our CEO, John Lawlor, whose contribution to scouting has been recognised by the World Scout Foundation. John has been appointed a Baden Powell Fellow by WSF and the presentation took place at the 73rd Baden-Powell Fellowship Dinner in Luxembourg recently. His Majesty, King Carl Gustaf of Sweden and incoming Honorary Chairman of the World Scout Federation Hector Robelo Cervantes presented the BPF iconic gold pin and certificate to John.
