The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Scouting Ireland / Gasóga na hÉireann will take place in person on Sunday 13th September 2026 at 14:00 in the Tullamore Court Hotel.
In preparation for the 2026 AGM, members are asked to note the following key deadlines and processes:
Elections – Directors
A number of Directors may be elected at the 2026 AGM. Nominations must be submitted to the Company Secretary on or before midnight, Wednesday 3rd June 2026.
Nomination documents:
- Application Nomination Form for Director
- Competency Matrix for Director
Completed nomination forms should be emailed to: cosec@scouts.ie
An induction day for nominees will be held on 27th June 2026.
Motions for Consideration
All motions for the AGM must first be reviewed by the Motions Committee. Motions must be submitted using the official Motion Form and emailed to motions.committee@scouts.ie on or before midnight, Saturday 20th June 2026.
Register of Members
To ensure all Scout Groups receive official AGM communications, each Scout Group must complete the Register of Members Form and nominate one individual to receive AGM notifications.
Deadline for registration: Wednesday 13th May 2026
