The Annual General Meeting of Scouting Ireland / Gasóga na hÉireann takes place, in person, on Saturday, 10th October 2026, at 2:00 pm in the National College of Ireland.

Attend as a Voting Delegate

The official AGM Notice and AGM Pack have been issued to the registered nominees of Scout Groups. The pack includes information about the meeting, the motions being considered and the process for registering voting delegates.

Each Scout Group, as a Member of the Company, may nominate up to five (5) Voting Delegates to attend the AGM and vote on the motions before the meeting.

Of the five delegates a Scout Group may nominate, at least two must be registered Scouts (youth members in receipt of the youth programme).

Registered nominees have been provided with the information and registration link required to register their Scout Group's Voting Delegates. Voting Delegate registration closes at midnight on Thursday 8 October 2026.

Attend as an Observer

Scouts and Adult Volunteers who wish to attend the AGM but are not attending as Voting Delegates may register to attend as Observers.

Observers are welcome to view the AGM in person but will not have voting rights or be able to participate in the meeting. Observer registration closes at midnight on Thursday 8 October 2026.

Scout Groups may submit questions in advance on matters or motions before the AGM by emailing agmquestions@scouts.ie by Friday 2 October 2026.
