
Beaver and Cub | Registration Process:
No registration is required. The steps are simple:
· Start the activities with Beavers and Cubs now. There’s no need to contact National Office or apply on the my.scouts database.
· Record the activities in a way that suits you and them. Books are no longer required.
· When they are finished in 6 months' time, complete the following form and follow the payment link at the bottom of the form.
· The payment is €5. Please ensure that you use the payment link before submitting the form and that after you have paid you return to the form and hit submit.
· Names are compiled at the beginning of each calendar month and sent to the printers. Please allow up to 6 weeks for receipt.
For Beavers and Cubs who are registered for the award through the old process, their award can be completed through the old process or the new process. If payment has been made through the old process please state so at the bottom of the form as certificates and badges will not be posted until payment has been received.

Scout, Venture Scout, and Rover Scout | Registration Process:
Participants registering for the CSA Joint Award should follow the new process:
1.
Youth member to select a mentor and discuss what is involved in achieving the award with them. If you need help finding a CSA mentor in your area email csa.support@scouts.ie.
2.
Youth member to log onto Gaisce website at www.gaisce.ie and register as a participant.
3. Gaisce application step by step guide:
Page 1: Select your Award.
Page 2 & 3: Fill in your personal details and contact information. If possible, please use the same email address as on your my.scouts.ie profile for verification purposes. If you need to change your email address on my.scouts please talk to your Group Leader.
Page 4: Select Gaisce Award Partner location; Dublin 16, regardless of your own county.
Page 5: Gaisce Award Partner Selection: Scouting Ireland.
Page 6: Select PAL: Administrator CSA – Scouting Ireland (This should be the only option).
Page 7: Application Activities: Fill required and select I don’t know my Adventure Journey.
Page 8: Confirm your details and proceed to payment. Under payment options select Pay now using debit or credit card and follow the link to make payment directly to Gaisce.
4. Duke of Edinburgh application step by step guide
a. Groups register on DofE site by emailing rmccay@scouts.ie.
b. Duke of Edinburgh co-ordinator in the Group can fill in the expression of interest form for the members wishing to complete the Joint award: Duke of Edinburgh Award.
c. Once payment is received the Duke of Edinburgh Manager in Scouting Ireland will then assign the relevant award packs to your groups profile on the DofE site and digital information packs will be available to you.

Start your CSA Joint Award journey with the support of your mentor.
6.
Once you have completed the award, fill in this Form. The closing date for Completion sheets is the 31st of December.
7.
Your Mentor will be contacted by Scouting Ireland or the CSA Support Team regarding your submission, if necessary.
For Participants completing Chief Scout Award only:
Simply start the award and when you are finished fill out the same completion sheet linked in step 11 above.
