The National Assembly will take place on 21st March in the Helix, Dublin.
The National Assembly of Scouting Ireland is a gathering of the Scouting Community from all across Ireland. This year is the first year of the Assembly, which will be an annual celebration and discussion of Scouting in Ireland.
While the AGM focuses on the business of the company of Scouting Ireland, the National Assembly focuses on the development of the ‘movement’ of Scouting. Members can come together to exchange, share ideas, learn about what is happening in SI and help shape what comes next! It provides a forum for Youth Members and Scouters, through their Scout Groups, to make proposals for consideration by those responsible within Scouting Ireland. This may include the Board of Directors, Lead Volunteers and members of staff. The National Assembly is an opportunity to have your voice heard, hear from others in the organisation and gather to debate, discuss and develop Scouting in Ireland.
You can access all of the National Assembly documentation in this folder.
