We are delighted to announce that Larch Hill International Scout and Guide Centre, Castle Saunderson International Scout Centre and Lough Dan Scout and Eco Centre have all achieved WOSM's SCENES Accreditation - Scout Centres of Excellence for Nature, Environment and Sustainability.
This fantastic achievement recognises the commitment of our Centres, volunteers, staff, and supporters to protecting our natural environment, reducing our environmental impact, and creating opportunities for Scouts to connect with and learn from the world around them.
SCENES Centres are more than just places to camp, they are spaces where young people can explore nature, develop environmental awareness, and be inspired to make positive changes for the planet.
Through activities, outdoor learning, conservation projects, and sustainable practices, our Centres are helping Scouts and leaders discover how small actions can help create a better world - at home, in our communities, and beyond.
By achieving SCENES accreditation, Castle Saunderson, Lough Dan, and Larch Hill join a global network of Scout Centres leading the way in environmental education and sustainability.
