Scouting Ireland members over 15 years of age* are invited to volunteer at the Earth Rising Festival at the Irish Museum of Modern Art in September. The focus is on the Earth crisis, and the festival is dedicated to sparking climate conversations and inspiring action through art and culture. See more here: Earth Rising 2025 - IMMA
When you volunteer, you will receive:
- Climate literacy training delivered either in person or online.
- Festival orientation and guest engagement training.
- A dedicated Scouting Ireland hub onsite during the festival.
- A €10 food voucher for each volunteer per 5-hour shift.
- Complimentary parking for volunteers onsite during the festival weekend, and assistance with travel costs where needed. Travel assistance will reimburse the cost of public transport (bus, tram, rail), or mileage for private car transport where public transport is not available.
- Complimentary camping on the IMMA site for the duration of the event, subject to normal Scouting Ireland camping protocols, including ‘Leave No Trace’.
- A formal presentation ceremony for youth members to receive a Better World Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Pin during the festival.
