The Phoenix Challenge is 20 years old in 2025! The theme for this year is ‘CELEBRATION – Celebrating 20 years in 2025’, looking back at two decades of the National Scoutcraft Competition, and all that has been achieved by thousands of Scouts like yourselves in that time!
The Phoenix is a competition, but it is also so much more. It is a chance to represent your Scout Group and to put into action all the scoutcraft and skills you have learned during your time in scouting. It also a chance to meet scouts from all over Ireland, like-minded people who are both similar and different to yourself. The aim of Phoenix Challenge 2025 is to celebrate both the event itself and all the scouts who have had the chance to enjoy the event over the last twenty years.

The link to the 2025 information pack, along with links to the Patrol Registration, Wildcard Application and Staff Application forms are below. Please read the Information Pack and information in the forms carefully before filling them in.
