Scouting Ireland’s International Service Team for the 26Th World Scout Jamboree next year in Poland met at Larch Hill, on 11th – 13th September 2026, for the first time. The International Service Team is an important part of Scouting Ireland’s contribution to the Jamboree. These scouters will travel to Gdańsk next year to volunteer during the Jamboree and fill a variety of roles, from checking in scouts to providing programme to coordinating shows and events.
Through céilís, crafts, and Polish pierogi, they got to know their fellow volunteers. Workshops over the weekend covered updates on travel, safety & wellbeing, culture, and Jamboree jobs.
